CONSUMPTION OF MINERAL FERTILIZERS

Mineral fertilizers in Russia are applied on average about 55-60 kg of resource per 1 hectare of sown area. The highest level is observed in the Central, Southern, and North Caucasian Federal districts – more than 80 kg/ha of d.v. Most fertilizers are applied for potatoes (470 kg/ha), vegetables (260 kg/ha) and sugar beet (290 kg/ha) - The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation
