POTASSIUM GOES UP THE MOUNTAIN. CHEMICAL PLANTS GIVEN 30% GROWTH

Agrochemistry production. The index of production of chemicals and chemical products in March 2021 compared to March 2020 amounted to 105.4%, in the first quarter of 2021 - 106.7%.

This March, chemical plants produced 2.327 million tons of mineral fertilizers, which is 6% more than in March last year. The increase by February 2021 amounted to almost 11%.

Nitrogen fertilizers were produced 1008 thousand tons, phosphorus - 378 thousand tons, potash - 942 thousand tons. The most aggressive growth was shown by potash plants, which gave dynamics of + 14.4%, phosphorus and nitrogen showed -0.7% and + 1.4% by March 2020.

Potash fertilizers also turned out to be the quarterly leader in comparison with March 2020, showing a powerful breakthrough of 30%. @agrorisk
