25% MORE AGRICULTURAL LOAN TAKING STEEL

Issuance of loans to agriculture in Russia. In January-April 2021, banks issued 471.5 billion rubles to agricultural producers. Last year, over the same period, the agricultural sector was stocked with a bank loan for a smaller amount - 416.6 billion rubles.

The growth in consumption of bank loans by agriculture amounted to 54.9 billion rubles. or 13%.

According to the latest data from the Central Bank of Russia, in April the trend of growth in sales of loans to the agricultural sector was confirmed. Paired April 2021/2020 the growth was 25% or 120 against 96 billion rubles.

Agricultural debt is growing at double-digit rates. As well as the prices for fertilizers, fuel and other agricultural inputs. @agrorisk
