In the first quarter of 2021, the dynamics of agricultural production is positive, but near zero

We look at the volume of agricultural production of all agricultural producers. All farms: agricultural organizations, farmers and households in March 2021 at current prices, according to a preliminary estimate of Rosstat, produced products worth 319.2 billion rubles. In general, in the first quarter of 2021 - in the amount of 714.6 billion rubles.

From January to March, the dynamics of agricultural production dived down, in January it was +0.7%, in February it was + 0.6%, and in March it was + 0.1%. Thus, the dynamics for the first quarter of 2020 remained positive, but only 0.4%.

While a year ago, the dynamics for the quarter was 6 times stronger and gave an increase in production by 3%. By Q4 2020, the index shows a traditional 70% rollback. @agrorisk
