Production of cheeses and cottage cheese in Russia. In May 2021, cheese makers produced 50.4 thousand tons of cheese. Paired May 2021/2020 total cheese production increased by 6.7%, in the May / April 2021 pair - by 3.2%.

From the beginning of the year to May 2021, cheese production increased by 3.3% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 233 thousand tons.

Cottage cheese in May 2021 produced 41.9 thousand tons of cheese. Paired May 2021/2020 the total production of cottage cheese decreased by 1.3%, in the May / April 2021 pair - by 5.7%.

Paired January-May 2021/2020 the production of cottage cheese was able to increase by 0.6%. @agrorisk
