AGRICULTURAL PRICES CONTINUE THE FLIGHT UP

Producer price indices for agricultural products. In the May / April 2021 pair, the price index of agricultural producers was 101.1%, including in crop production - 99.6%, in animal husbandry - 100.4%.

In total, in January-May 2021, agricultural producers raised prices by 8.2%. If you look at the last year, then a smaller growth of 0.9% was recorded. The rate of growth in prices for the period increased by a factor of 9.

In dynamics May 2021/2020 the prices of agricultural producers for the main types of agricultural products continued to rise at the level of plus 24.35%. Paired January-April 2021/2020 crop and livestock products rose in price by 27.8%. @agrorisk
