Production of tobacco products. The index of tobacco production in the pair May YoY collapsed by 22.7%, in the period January-May yoy fell by 13.3%.

In absolute terms , in May 2022 , the tobacco industry released  15.9 billion cigarettes versus 20.9 billion cigarettes a year ago. A drop of almost 25%. In the January-May YoY pair, cigarette output decreased by 14.3%.

Manufacturers of industrially manufactured tobacco and its substitutes produced 1.6 thousand tons of tobacco against 1.2 thousand tons a year earlier, giving an increase of 33%. In the January-May YoY pair, tobacco output remained in the black by 5.2% @agrorisk
