Rosstat reports that as of June 1, 2021, in farms of all categories (agricultural organizations, farmers, population), spring grains and legumes were sown on an area of ​​26.3 million hectares, sunflower - by 7.9 million, sugar beet - by 1 , 0 million, potatoes - by 1.1 million, vegetables - by 0.4 million hectares.

Compared to the corresponding date of 2020, the sown areas of spring grains and legumes in the farms of all agricultural producers decreased by 1.9%, potatoes - by 5.6%, vegetables - by 6.4%, sunflower areas increased - by 4.8 % (+364 thousand ha), sugar beet - by 7.9%. @agrorisk
