LEATHER TURNOVER IS GROWING, PRODUCTION IS FALLING

Turnover of leather organizations in Russia. The money turnover of organizations processing leather and leather products is growing. In October 2022, the turnover of processing enterprises of the leather industry amounted to 9.6 billion rubles. Compared to September, the indicator has increased by 5.4%.

In comparison with October 2021, the turnover of these organizations has grown very significantly - by 17.4%. At the same time, the production index in physical terms in the leather industry fell by 8.7% in the October/y pair, and by 3.5% in the October/September pair this year.

In the January-October 2022-2021 pair, the increase was 12.4% @agrorisk
