The article examines the regulatory framework of the leading potato-producing countries, highlights the current regulatory legal acts in the EAEU countries, methods of tariff and non-tariff regulation. In addition, the article touches on the issue of legal regulation of the purchase of seed potatoes in the Russian Federation, nutrients and chemicals used in the cultivation of this crop.
