The article examines the Rosstat methodology for constructing food balances, analyzes in detail the balance sheet items, the relationship of data from federal state statistical observation forms, annual specialized forms of accounting reports for agricultural enterprises, household budget surveys, one-time records and censuses, customs statistics.
