The prospects for the development of the direction of "resource-saving technologies" in the agriculture of Chuvashia are presented. These technologies will allow saving on various operations in agriculture, which will result in lower costs and production costs. The examples of the introduction of new approaches in Chuvashia are considered, where in some agricultural organizations there are many years of experience in the application of technology of zero (minimum) tillage, technology of precision farming. Materials are published on the basis of a report presented in the framework of a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Timiryazev Russian State Agricultural University-Moscow Agricultural Academy.
