There are various methods and techniques for restoring the elasticity and rigidity of machine parts. The largest number of such parts falls on springs, which are used in many mechanisms (engine valve mechanism, clutch, high pressure fuel pump, gasoline pump, carburetor, etc.). Leaf springs and torsion bars work in vehicle suspensions. Typical damage to elastic elements is a loss of rigidity. This article proposes the use of electromechanical hardening when restoring the stiffness and elasticity of springs, which has shown the effectiveness of this method of restoring the operability of a spring.
Keywords
Spring; elasticity, rigidity; electromechanical hardening.
