This article examines the main problems of the development of small businesses in the agricultural sector. The role of rural credit cooperatives in the formation and development of small forms of agricultural production is assessed. Possible mechanisms for the implementation of support for these small businesses are proposed. The data on loans issued and subsidies received by medium and small agribusiness are analyzed.
