The modern level of digitalization presupposes the assessment and labeling of goods, with the help of which it is possible in a concise form, but at the same time to convey to the consumer quite fully important information about the product: where it was produced, from what material, and so on. This need is underscored by the ever-increasing complexity of consumer products and offerings, where functional aspects may not be clear to consumers at first glance. The article describes the problems and prospects for the introduction of digital labeling of dairy products, an attempt is made to assess its effectiveness.
