annotation
The article actualizes the issue of assessing the effectiveness of digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex. Comparative assessments of the development of digitalization of domestic agriculture and international experience in this area are given. The Cobb-Douglas function is described, which allows assessing investments in the varietal composition of plants, agricultural machinery, and other factors of production in the agro-industrial complex, including digital solutions. The applicability of various theories of capital in relation to the digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex is evaluated.
