Not so long ago, the Law on Veterinary Medicine was amended, which from September 1, 2023 will make it necessary to chip animals. The animal will have one unique code throughout its life, according to which you can get complete information about it: marking means, type, genus, gender, owner, purpose and place of maintenance, breeding value, etc. However, Russian labeling standards are fundamentally different from the world ones, there are also no approved quality standards for labels.

In Russia, the main supplier of labels of global standards in labeling is "PerArpo". The company uses low-quality tags produced in China. In the absence of adequate competition, it turns out that it acts as a monopolist in the market, being both the operator of the software product and the sole supplier of labels.
