The development of an educational product taking into account the growth trends of the influence of digital ecosystems on the agro-industrial complex.



On Thursday, October 27, 2022, in the Bones hall of the Boiling Point of Timiryazevka, the Department of Applied Informatics and the Digital Department held a strategic session No. 2 on the topic "Development of an educational product taking into account the trends in the development of digital ecosystems for the agro-industrial complex". the complex (with the participation of vendors)".



The session was held within the framework of the University's permanent conference "National Champions and leaders of the digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex". Recall that

the first event took place in April 2022.



With invited experts from digital companies: Alexander Eder (Kroc Incorporated), Maxim Golikov (Digital Agro), Olga Chagina (Rosselkhoznadzor) and Egor Sivkov (Beac), as well as the guest of honor - Deputy Director of Depinformatization of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia Maxim Zakharov discussed the patterns of development of the digital business of the agro-industrial complex and new challenges facing farms, with on the one hand, and on the other – in front of agricultural universities and other participants of the educational market. The challenges are associated with the active digital transformation of agricultural production, the growth of the level of digital maturity of agricultural enterprises, which inevitably leads to the need to increase the level of competence of personnel in the agro-industrial complex.



The moderators of the event - Elena Khudyakova, Head of the Department of Applied Informatics, and Oleg Motorin, Head of the Digital Department, suggested discussing such dynamically growing issues in practice as:


1. Paradigm shift in the digitalization of agriculture: from private IT solutions to digital ecosystems.


2. How to serve digital ecosystems in the agro-industrial complex: industry, IT and project competencies.


3. What does the provider of educational products for digital ecosystems in the agro-industrial complex look like in the new conditions.


Various approaches, assessments and opinions were expressed in the discussion. Summing up, the participants agreed that the topics covered are deep and multifaceted. As a result, we decided that it was necessary to continue the discussion in the chosen think tank format in order to return with new ideas and solutions.



Also, all colleagues agreed that the market is expecting significant changes and its better-prepared participants will be able to claim with a higher degree of probability to retain leadership in the segment of providing educational services for the digitalization of agriculture.
