In Brazil, the total corn production will be estimated at 125.8 million tons in the 2022/23 season, or plus 11.2% compared to the previous season. The sowing of corn of the first harvest has progressed in all grain-producing regions. So, in Rio Grande do Sul, a decrease in precipitation and its unevenness in November, combined with high temperatures, caused symptoms of water deficiency in plants.
