Agriculture is the No. 1 industry in the digital transformation of the national economy.
On September 21-24, 2022, the Kazan Digital Week – 2022 International Forum was held in Kazan, organized by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan under the auspices of the Government of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the Forum was to exchange experience in the development, implementation and commercial promotion of digital intelligent technologies and products based on them. The block dedicated to the agro-industrial complex became the most grandiose in the entire exposition of the Forum.
At the closing ceremony of the Forum in the concert hall named after Ilham Shakirov of the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center, the winners of the Hackathon were awarded and the results of the Forum were summed up in 10 areas of the national economy (ITS, Digital technologies of state and municipal administration, Digital Industry 4.0, Cybersecurity of modern times, the fintech Ecosystem, Innovations integrated into business, Digital technologies in education, Digital technologies in culture, Digital technologies in healthcare and medicine, Digital technologies in agriculture). The moderator of the event was the well-known presenter of information programs on the channel "Russia-24" Dmitry Anatolyevich Shchugorev.
At the invitation of the Chairman of the Council of the Association for the Promotion of Digital Development, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and Holding of the International Forum KAZAN DIGITAL WEEK – 2022 Rifkat Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, Rosinformagrotech was honored to complete the presentation of the results of the Forum during the closing ceremony and make a final speech on the results of the direction "Digital Technologies in Agriculture".
Oleg A. Motorin, a leading researcher at Rosinformagrotech, Associate professor of the Department of Applied Informatics of the K.A.Timiryazev Russian State Agricultural Academy, summed up the work of the agro-industrial complex, noting that judging by the scale of the agro-industrial complex exposition, the number of expert platforms, the level of representativeness of participants at the Forum: agriculture is the No. 1 industry in digital transformation. "All industries are important, but agriculture is No. 1."
Motorin O.A. also announced that, without taking into account negotiations and mutual consultations between participants of the digital market in the agro-industrial complex, 9 conferences were held at the Forum, which were attended by more than 2 thousand experts, managers, researchers. The forum really had an international character, bringing together representatives from countries such as India, the UAE, France, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, China and many others. The participation of the heads of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the Federation Council, and Roskachestvo, who made strategic reports and held open discussions with market participants, gave additional significance to the Forum.
The increasing level of digitalization of agriculture in the Republic of Tatarstan and the significant attention paid to the training of competent personnel for digital transformation at the level of agricultural enterprises are particularly noted. Tatarstan holds a recognized leadership in the issues of digitalization of the agro-industrial complex. The driving force behind such positive dynamics, according to O.A. Motorin, is the creation of an effective management team formed on the basis of the state corporation of the Republic of Tatarstan - JSC "RIVC" - under the leadership of Niyaz Andreevich Halliulin and responsible for responding to digital challenges in the industry.
In conclusion, O.A. Motorin drew the attention of the participants to the fact that, thanks to such conferences as Kazan Digital Agro, there is always the possibility of direct interaction with regulators and leading experts collecting the frontier of the future of digital agriculture, called on everyone to continue cooperation, the use of the developments of the leader in the expertise of agricultural technologies - Rosinformagrotech, training on Digital Department of RGAU-Moscow State Agricultural Academy named after K.A.Timiryazev. Oleg Alekseevich thanked the leadership of Tatarstan and Rifkat Nurgalievich for the opportunity to take part in the Forum and the excellent organization of the event.
