"Borscht set"

In Russia, farmers have significantly increased the collection of products of the "borscht set", while the yield on average in the country increased by 5%. Thus, 7.2 million tons of potatoes have been accumulated in agricultural enterprises and farms, which is 9.1% higher than last year (6.6 million tons). Vegetables were harvested more than 5.2 million tons against 5.1 million tons a year earlier (+2%). In particular, the harvest of cabbage amounted to 953.1 thousand tons (+19.3%), table beet - 416.6 thousand tons (+9.3%), carrots – 841.3 thousand tons (+9.5%), onions – 1.1 million tons (+ 8.3%). The resulting harvest will largely meet the domestic needs of the country - the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation
