ABOLITION OF IMPORT STANDARDS

On November 6, 2022, the Ministry of Economy of Israel signed an order to cancel about 100 standards for imported products. The document will enter into force on 01.01.2023. From this moment, 61 standards will cease to apply, the remaining restrictions will be lifted gradually. The basis for such a step was the course of harmonization of national requirements in the field of product safety with the legislation of the EU and the USA – Israel MEP
