Timber prices of Russian exporters. For export operations, the average actual prices for timber, both processed and unprocessed, continued to rise in April 2021.
The average actual price of 1 ton of treated wood in April increased by 10.8% and amounted to USD 320.6 against 289.4 in March. In a couple of April 2021/2020, exporters achieved a 41% increase in prices for such wood.
In April, buyers from distant countries purchased treated timber at a price of 356,135 dollars per ton against 318 a month earlier. The price increased by $ 38 (the markup is 2 times compared to the March / February pair).
The post-Soviet countries were able to afford the April purchase, as before, 2 times cheaper at $ 156.3 per ton against 154.5 in March 2021. The rise was almost $ 2.
