SWEETS WITH CUCUMBERS. CONSUMER PRICE INDEX FOR JUNE 18-24, 2022

Consumer price index in Russia. For the period from June 18 to June 24, 2022, the index was 100.00%, since the beginning of June – 99.74%, since the beginning of the year – 111.51%.

During the week, prices increased: for chocolate candies – by 1.0%, margarine – by 0.7%, boiled sausages and cookies – by 0.5%, lamb, rice and salt – by 0.4%, pasteurized milk, rennet cheeses, bread and bakery products – by 0.3%, beef – by 0.2%, sausages, rye bread, black tea, vodka – by 0.1%.

Prices decreased: for granulated sugar – by 2.6%, milk powder mixtures for baby food – by 0.6%, chicken eggs and vermicelli – by 0.5%, pork, canned fruit and berry for baby food - by 0.4%, buckwheat groats – by 0.3%, wheat flour, pasta – by 0.2%, chicken meat, sterilized milk, sour cream and millet – by 0.1%.

Fruit and vegetable products on average fell by 3.1%: white cabbage – by 13.6%, table beets – by 6.3%, tomatoes – by 5.8%, potatoes – by 5.7%, onions – by 5.4%, bananas – by 3.9%, carrots – by 3.8%, apples – by 0.4%. Cucumbers replaced apples in the lead of price growth, rising by 0.7% @agrorisk
