AGRICULTURAL MORTALITY RATE IS ROLLING FORWARD

Demography of agricultural enterprises in Russia. In January-May 2021, 1,133 organizations were created in agriculture, of which 206 new enterprises were established in May against 312 in April.

The "fertility" rate of organizations in agriculture (the distribution of registered organizations per 1000 organizations as a whole) has improved, but still lags behind the economy as a whole by 1.5 times: in January-May it was 16.8 against 29.9.

The liquidation of agricultural enterprises in January-May 2021 proceeded at a more powerful pace. 2,195 organizations were liquidated, of which 265 were enterprises in May against 406 in April.

The mortality rate of agricultural enterprises in January-May continued to grow: 29.2 organizations per 1000 liquidated in April (the overall ratio for the economy was 39.3). @agrorisk
