SUPERIORITY OF POTASSIUM. PRODUCTION VOLUMES INCREASE

Agrochemistry production in Russia. The index of production of chemicals and chemical products in the May / April 2021 pair was 99.5%, in the May 2021/2020 pair. - 108.9%, in a pair January-May 2021/2020 - 107.8%.

In May, chemical plants in total produced 2.283 against 2.161 million tons of mineral fertilizers in April. The increase against April 2021 amounted to 5.6%. By May 2020, the release was the same.

Nitrogen fertilizers were produced in May 977 against 976 thousand tons in April, phosphorus - 354 against 371 thousand tons, potash - 951 against 814 thousand tons.

After falling into the abyss in April, potash plants recovered, raising output by 16.9% versus April. Phosphorus deepened the fall to 4.6%, nitrogen straightened and showed plus 0.1% versus April.

Paired May 2021/2020 potash plants increased production by 9.2%, phosphorus plants decreased by 12.3%, nitrogen plants - also below the minus line: -2.9%.

Potash fertilizers remained the leader in comparison with January-May 2020, maintaining positive dynamics at the level of 22.4%. @agrorisk
