CASH GAP IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY

Debts of the agro-industrial complex to banks in Russia. The total delay in accounts payable of organizations in favor of banks at the end of March 2021 amounted to 528 billion rubles. against 492.4 billion rubles. in February. This is 0.7% of the total corporate loan portfolio of banks.

In March 2021, agricultural enterprises overdue payments to banks in the amount of RUB 12.1 billion. against 13.5 a month earlier. Thus, reducing it by as much as 1.4 billion rubles, or almost 10%.

Fishery enterprises had delays of less than 100 million rubles, having reduced it since February by 36.3%.

The food producers were 3 times more overdue than in February - by 7.8 billion rubles. Beverage producers remained at the same level, delays by 1.6 billion rubles. (+ 1.5%). Tobacco companies owe less than RUB 100 million. (dynamics 0%).

Manufacturers of chemical substances, including agrochemistry, have overdue 3.8 billion rubles to banks. (+ 1.3%), manufacturers of machinery and equipment (including agricultural machinery) - 27.7 billion rubles. (-0.9%). @agrorisk
