IMPORT OF CHICKEN LEGS IN 2021 INCREASED BY 17%

Prices for the import of meat in Russia. In the May / April 2021 pair, for imports, the average actual prices for red meat increased by 5.6%, for white meat (poultry) also by 5.6%.

In conjunction May 2021/2020 foreign red meat has risen in price by 8.0%, and poultry meat - by as much as 17.0%.

The average actual price for 1 ton of red meat in May 2021 amounted to USD 3943.2 against USD 3734 in April. Due to distant cordons, beef and pork were supplied for $ 3970.3 / ton, from the CIS countries - for $ 3900.0 / ton. May delta in directions - $ 230 against $ 213 in April, in favor of the CIS.

For poultry meat, the average actual price per tonne in May 2021 amounted to USD 1,631.1 versus USD 1,546 in March. Due to distant cordons, poultry meat came for $ 1,578.3 / ton, from the CIS countries - for $ 1,677.6 / ton.
