MEAT SUBSTITUTION. NO MONEY FOR MEAT, EAT DUMPLINGS

Production of semi-finished meat products in Russia. For the period from January to May of this year, creameries produced 1.8 million tons of semi-finished products (including: meat, meat-containing, chilled, frozen), of which production in May amounted to 372 thousand tons.

Paired May 2021/2020 the total output of semi-finished products was charged by the meat processing plants by 13.6%.

In the May / April 2021 pair, the production index increased by 1.6%.

From the beginning of the year to May 2021, the production of butter increased by 11.9% compared to the same period last year. Recall that over the same period, the production of red meat increased by only 1.5%, poultry by -3.5%. @agrorisk
