Manufacture of leather and leather products in Russia. The index of leather and leather goods production (includes suitcases, handbags, shoes) in the pair of May YoY amounted to 101.6% (in the pair of 2021/2020 it was 127.8%).

In the May/April 2022 pair, the index decreased by 8.7%. In the cumulative January-May YoY pair since the beginning of the year, the index was 101.9%.

In total, in May 2022, 87.5 million square meters of whole cattle skins (without hair) were produced in Russia. decameters versus 90.2 a year ago.

By April 2022, the production of such skins decreased by 21.9%.

Skins from non-whole skins - 29.7 million sq . m . decameters versus 16.5 a year ago. In the May/April 2022 pair, non-whole skins were released by 11.4% less @agrorisk
