CANNED FOOD IS CANNED. PRODUCTION DECLINED BY 43%

Production of canned meat in Russia. From the beginning of the year to May 2021, meat (meat-containing) canned food, including canned food for baby food, was produced in the amount of 244 million standard cans.

By the same period in 2020, production fell by 26.5%.

In total, the canning industry produced 34.3 million cans this May.

Paired May 2021/2020 the production of canned meat went down 42.9%. Since April this year output decreased by 13.7%. @agrorisk
