Wheat prices of Russian exporters. For export operations, the average actual prices for wheat and meslin in May 2021 showed a decline after several months of growth.
The average actual price for 1 ton of wheat and meslin fell by 6.4% in May, reaching USD 248.4 against USD 265.5 in April. In the May 2021/2020 pair, exporters achieved a 17.1% increase in grain prices.
Grain is still more expensive for recipients of Russian wheat abroad from distant countries than for the CIS member states. The first had to be purchased at $ 274.5 per ton, the price for the month increased by $ 0.6. Post-Soviet countries were able to afford the May purchase for 191.6 dollars per ton against 200.7 in March.
As a result, exporters reduced the price for the CIS countries by $ 9. The May delta between export destinations increased by 10 points and amounted to $ 83. @agrorisk
