Rosstat reports that as of June 1, 2021, in farms of all categories (agricultural organizations, farmers, population), spring grains and legumes were sown on an area of 26.3 million hectares, sunflower - by 7.9 million, sugar beet - by 1 , 0 million, potatoes - by 1.1 million, vegetables - by 0.4 million hectares.
Compared to the corresponding date of 2020, the sown areas of spring grains and legumes in the farms of all agricultural producers decreased by 1.9%, potatoes - by 5.6%, vegetables - by 6.4%, sunflower areas increased - by 4.8 % (+364 thousand ha), sugar beet - by 7.9%. @agrorisk
