Prices for the import of fruits and vegetables in Russia. In February 2021, on import operations, the average actual prices increased mainly for vegetables (tomatoes and potatoes), compared to January 2021 by 7.7%. Prices for imported fruits (bananas and citruses) rose slightly by 0.9%.
However, compared to February 2020 prices, import prices for these goods decreased by an average of 5.5%. So, for foreign potatoes, the average actual price per 1 ton in February 2021 amounted to USD 390. By February 2020, the price dropped by 7.3%.
Import of tomatoes per ton cost Russian wholesale consumers $ 1204. The decrease in prices by February 2020 amounted to 9.7%.
Prices for bananas, including plantains (fresh and dried), imported into Russia, remained practically at the level of last year and amounted to $ 737 per ton.
Imported citruses were imported to Russia for $ 677; prices by February 2020 decreased by 4.4%. @agrorisk
