In the special economic development zone "Mariel" in Cuba, a new brand of Parranda beer for the local market is presented, it will be produced at a new brewery. The CEO of the joint Cuban-Dutch enterprise Cervecería Cubana S.A. A. Van Schaik informed that the cost of the plant is 100 million US dollars. The initial capacity of the brewery is 1 million hectoliters per year. Work has been underway since 2019, it is planned to be completed in January 2023. The launch is scheduled for Q2 2023.
