BEVERAGE INDUSTRY LEADS AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY FORWARD

Financial results of the beverage industry in Russia. In January-April 2021, the balanced financial result (profit minus loss) of beverage companies (excluding SMEs) in current prices amounted to 14.1 billion rubles.

Compared to the same period in 2020, the profit of beverage manufacturers increased by 15.2%, which correlates with the rates of food industry (14.6%) and tobacco industry (13.3%).

In general, in January-April, beverage producers made a profit of 16.3 billion rubles. The companies' losses amounted to RUB 2.2 billion. or 13.5% of the shaft of total profits in the industry. The share of unprofitable organizations was 36.3%.

Over the period, in the general section of the net profit in the country among organizations (amounted to 7277.4 billion rubles), organizations of the beverage industry took a share of 0.2%. @agrorisk
