Livestock products in agricultural organizations in Russia. Paired April 2021/2020 in agricultural organizations (AHOs), the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) increased by 2.1%; milk increased by 2.2%, and egg production - by 2.1%.
Milk yield in agricultural enterprises (excluding SMP) per 1 cow in January-April 2021 amounted to 2518 kg against 2417 kg in the same period in 2020. The egg production of laying hens in agricultural enterprises (excluding SMP) is 103 eggs against 102 pieces a year ago.
For January-April 2021 in the structure of livestock and poultry production for slaughter (in live weight) there was an increase in the share of production of cattle and pigs for slaughter compared to the same period in 2020.
In April, the share of cattle was fixed at 8.8%, pigs - 40.1%. The main reason is a decrease in production volumes in the poultry industry by 6% (in a couple of the first quarter of 2021/2020).
Production (in live weight) and dynamics in pair April 2021/2020 accounted for: cattle - 89.8 thousand tons (+ 7%), pigs - 408.9 thousand tons (+ 4.6%), poultry - 518 thousand tons (-0.8%). @agrorisk
