The article makes a forecast of fruit consumption in the Russian Federation, analyzes the average per capita consumption of fruits and berries in the period 2006-2017. by regions of the Russian Federation. Clustering of regions was carried out according to a set of indicators characterizing the level and distribution of incomes of the population. The dependence of the average per capita consumption of fruits and berries on the level of income of the population in the groups of regions with high and low incomes has been determined. The forecast of per capita fruit consumption and the level of satisfaction of the population in food is given in accordance with the scenarios of socio-economic development.
