OVERVIEW OF THE WORLD SOYBEAN OIL MARKET

The article provides an overview of the global soybean oil market and forecasts further growth in soybean oil production by 2020. The analysis of production by the largest manufacturers, which include the United States, Argentina, Brazil, the European Union, Paraguay and Russia, is made. Consumption of soybean oil is forecast to grow steadily due to its popularity as a raw material for biodiesel production. This is due to the upward trend in soybean oil imports by the largest importers such as India and China.
