The article shows the main directions of the development of the world sugar market, the dynamics of the global balance of white sugar in 2010-2020. The author explains the changes in the consumer behavior model in the EU countries and gives a forecast of sugar consumption per capita, as well as the prospects for consumption growth in different regions.
