The article gives a forecast of the consumption of chicken eggs in the Russian Federation, taking into account the scenarios of its socio-economic development, considered the average per capita consumption of eggs in the Russian Federation in the period 2006-2017. and a forecast of the dynamics of per capita egg consumption in the Russian Federation in the period 2018-2020 was given. in accordance with the basic scenario of socio-economic development. Demand for eggs on the domestic market is forecasted and problems limiting access to food for the population are indicated.
