annotation

The article examines the issues of world consumption of pork. A list of the largest countries by pig population is presented. The development of pig breeding in the EU, China and the USA, and the shares of the leading countries in terms of pig livestock are shown. The authors made a forecast for the development of pig breeding until 2025. The article traces a trend towards the expansion of the pork market, a trend towards an increase in both production and consumption of pork.
